Macbeth - "Is this a dagger which I see before me?"
This is the "Is this a dagger which I see before me" monologue from Shakespears play Macbeth.
This monologue was for an audition I did for a theatre production of Macbeth. The play has been Indigenized. Being Indigenous, this was a wonderful opportunity for myself, and I'm grateful to have auditioned.
Please feel free to share your thoughts on my monologue. It was an audition, which is to say, it wasn't polished and ready for the stage, but I did put a good amount of work into it. I'm happy to hear all thoughts. It can be hard to hear critical reviews, but I believe that comes with the territory. I cannot please everyone, nor do I try to, but I fully understand that not everyone is going to like what my take is of a piece of text or a scene. I am always learning, and growing, and moving forward in my craft.
I am hoping to do more monologues and keep my craft sharp and always ready to delve into the work.
If there is a specific monologue you'd like to see me do, please feel free to share. It may take time to get these requests, as I can get quite busy, but I'd like to hear it.
