Come learn effective strategies of how to promote and advocate for literacy to gain more volunteers, learners, partners, and funding. The Kalamazoo Literacy Council has used these strategies as part of its public awareness, advocacy, recruitment, and fundraising activities to successfully support, sustain, and grow adult literacy programming. This workshop applies to literacy councils and adult learning programs looking to build capacity in these areas.
