How to Connect a GCP Project Using Cloud Entitlements Manager
"In this video, we will be using Cloud Entitlements Manager to connect a GCP Workspace at the project level.
First, go to Setup and Select Platform Management
Under GCP, click connect and select New Project - connect a stand alone project. and hit Connect.
Login to your GCP console as an administrator and copy the Project ID, which we will then paste into the Cloud Entitlements Manager console. You can also add a name and description if desired.
Next, open the link for the google cloud shell. Make sure to check the ""trust"" box before confirming.
While the cloud shell is loading, head back to the Cloud Entitlements Manager console to copy out the project ID and paste it into the shell window to run.
Once the command completes, head back to the GCP console to copy the final value from the newly created cloud deployment.
Go back in the Cloud Entitlements Manager console paste this into the Final Value field and Click on Connect Project.
Please note that the discovery can take some time for large organizations, so please be patient.
Once the connection scan is complete, navigate to the dashboard to see your newly connected projects. You may need to refresh the page if they do not appear right away."
