Disassembling the center console of a 2005 Toyota Camry V30
This might be an open secret for some, but I previously disassembled this part using numerous online tips:
Insert plastic cards into the joints between the side panels and, pulling them along the console, unclip it from its mounting points.
On drive2.ru, user Interceptor083 pointed out that this console is much easier to disassemble:
Open the glove compartment and pull the corners of the console upward. That's it – it's off!
I couldn't remove it manually there – it's firmly seated, but it's much easier to pry it up a bit with a spudger and then easily remove it.
The video also shows how to remove the top of the console to access the front seat heating buttons and the cigarette lighter.
