🇬🇧 HOW TO PLAY IN ENGLISH
You don’t need to change the language manually. The game switches to English automatically when you connect to a Global (EU) server.
You can join an English lobby in three ways:
1. In Garry’s Mod, open Find Multiplayer Game. In the server list, find Shinri Trial | Danganronpa → Lobby #1–#5 | Start Here, then press Join Server. Make sure it has an EU icon.
2. Open the developer console with F10 or ~ (usually below Esc), then enter one of these commands:

connect 203.23.179.220:27016
connect 203.23.179.220:27017
connect 203.23.179.220:27018
connect 203.23.179.220:27019
3. Or use this direct link — it should open Steam/Garry’s Mod and connect you automatically:

The required addons download automatically the first time you connect, so your first join may take a while.
This guide covers the “quick games” mode. Official and private games may differ in many respects — check the project’s official resources for their specific rules.

⚠️ Note on the 6:40 “taboo” — should’ve worded it better in the video:
— It’s community etiquette, not a rule: there is no enforcement, and people break it regularly.
— Any character can kill if the motive builds up during the game.
— What’s discouraged: motiveless, zero-setup kills that leave the trial with nothing to investigate.
— Heavy RP is not officially mandatory. Deduction is the core.
