What's happening YouTube!
This is a part of my version of experiment on how close the IR guitar cab can get to that real mic'd cab sound we hear on commercial CDs.
However, unlike the other two sounds on my channel, this one does not have any particular sound of a specific track to simulate: It is an original sound where you can go shredding while playing a Texas/SRV style band.
This is another variation using the same track as the previously uploaded sample, but with a Fender '65 Deluxe amp and a Boss DS1 instead of a JCM800 head and a Greenback 412 cab.
As you can see, this one has more low mid-range and high-end and thus can be better processed in the mix.
The other variation of Amplitube patch with JCM800 heard and Greenback IR can be found at:

The backing track is available at: • Blues Funk Guitar Backing Track
They have a great selection of high quality backing tracks available so check them out to find some of your flavor.
I use stock Ibanez S540BM, Tascam US366 I/O, PC, AmpliTube Sonar X3 Studio, and some great free VST effects. The VST effects setting on the screen is the actual setting I am using for this track (except that the delay mix is increased to 25%). Go Hi Res to see the parameters.
I am very glad that now all of us can afford great guitar sound on almost any PC, and that sounds very close to the rigs that was totally unaffordable if we think about the budgets, and transportation even if we managed to afford the rig price.
On the top of it, using amp sim saves alot and significantly contributes to GHG reduction in every aspect, save gas as you hop on to subways or buses to your rehearsals instead of hauling your stacks and driving, use less electricity compared to actual rig, and so on.
So go virtual today and leave no excuse, have fun, and pass on the great music legend to the future while getting greener.
The actual performance footage has to wait some more!
