This talk will show that when compiling without optimizations, which is useful when debugging, seemingly innocent function calls such as `std::move` and `std::forward` can provide significant run-time overhead. It will also discuss possible fixes and workarounds.

Vittorio Romeo
Vittorio Romeo (B.Sc. Computer Science) has been a Software Engineer at Bloomberg for more than 3 years, working on mission-critical company C++ infrastructure and providing Modern C++ training to hundreds of fellow employees.
