Premiere Pro: Help! My Clips Won't Sync!
I recently did a project where I shot 2 hours of talking head at a podium, using separately recorded audio from a small digital audio recorder. However, in post, the files just didn't match up, even though both were recorded at 48K. The DAR audio was just longer and slower by about a second at the end of the 2 hour video. The 'merge clips' feature wouldn't work unless the two files matched, so I developed this workflow, using the rate stretch tool to fix the problem and save the project.
