Creating Scenes using RescueX and Overlay Editor
X-Plane 10- Ultra realistic helicopter flight simulation. In this video, we are showing you how to use Overlay Editor to place objects where you want them, to create a scene. Police, ambulance, fire, whatever you want and beyond. Also, a little dramatic flair at then end, Vortex Ring State / Settling with power. This is a dangerous condition when the helicopter settles into it's own downward column of air (downwash) and descends itself. Almost NO other flight simulators model this at all, so I wanted to demonstrate how X-Plane is superior for helicopters. FSX doesn't even come close.
