Learning WordPress: First steps in building your site
Once you have WordPress installed in your computer or web host your first instinct will be to immediately start adding posts and pages and see how they look in your site.
My advice, however, is to have a plan which includes asking these questions:
What type of site are you building?
Examples of sites that you like
What theme should you use?
Will you use a page builder with your theme?
Do you have your content/images ready?
