LEAKED! - 9.10 Type 2604 & 2605 Stats || World of Tanks
New Japanese Tier IX and X normal heavy tanks.
These two super heavy tanks will be the new Tier IX and X of the Japanese normal heavy tanks. They will be likely introduced for the 9.10 patch.
NOTE YET AGAIN! I didn't know the video rendering was seldomly skipping so it sounds like I am missing a few syllables. I was too pissed off and too lazy to re-record, so blame my crappy computer and just tolerate it. It might be that the webcam was re-adjusting to the lightning since it's early morning and that might have skipped the video while recording... etc. etc... I don't know, crappy computer is crappy, what can you do?

"What happened during the design process, according to Sahm:
After encountering and loosing to the Soviets in 1939, the Japanese and colonel Iwakuro decided that they need a 100ton heavy tank to act as a mobile pillbox in Manchuria. Two initial prototypes where conceived; one was the Type 96 Iwakuro and the other was the Mi-To 100. Both designs were scraped in favor of the Mi-To 150, a heavier version of the Mi-To 100. A single prototype was built but the suspension failed multiple testing so the whole prototype was recycled and the only remnants of this tank's existence are in blueprint documents and a single track link, both on display in Wakajishi Shrine Museum in Japan.
Later on in 1944 and after receiving details about the German Maus design, the Japanese rekindled the heavy tank designs with taking the Type 96 Iwakuro tank and modified the suspension, armor plating, and armaments. These new prototypes are named O-I 100 and O-I 120. The Japanese also produced blueprint versions with only single turrets called Type 2604 & 2605. But due to the war and various other factors, none of these heavy tank prototypes were built nor tested. Some parts were recycled and some were used as beach defense fortification (Type 2604's turret)."
