How I got GeForce GTX to work on Cupertino2
Note: You can just press F1 at the HP boot screen to boot it without the crackling noise. Pressing F12 without touching Esc also seems to work for some. Alt + F10 has been reported to work, too.
Note 2: Not all Cupertino2s are built equal, it seems, and some of them will still fail to run free with the wind. That is to say, some of them you just can't make work with this trick. If you already have a Cupertino2, don't buy a new graphics card for it. First upgrade your motherboard. If you already bought one... No harm in testing it. I think. I hope.

Yay, I got my Asus GTX 750 Ti to work on my H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX motherboard.
Depending on your graphics card, you might have to buy a juicier PSU. My GTX 750 Ti doesn't require extra power, so it "should" work on the 300-watt crapware PSU that came with the PC - except I already bought a 600-watt PSU and never got to try it with the 300-watt PSU.
I can't guarantee it works, nor can I be held responsible if it doesn't work.
