AP Computer Science Principles - What Do We Do In This Class?
In this video, I provide a brief introduction to the AP Computer Science Principles class at Burlington-Edison High School. In this college-level class we learn to code in JavaScript. We make lots of games. We write all our code "by hand" -- meaning we don't use another program to write the code for us. This is professional level coding!! #apcsp #overview #whatdowedointhisclass
Keep watching because I also show you sample games and some of the code, made by high school students in my class, that were created for their final projects. These games were written completely by my students, with minimal help from me. By the end of the class, students had a very solid understanding of how JavaScript works as a game engine.
