Hey guys, so here's a quick tutorial on how to fix Black Screen Issue on Google Chrome Window on OBS.
So the other day I was about to start a livestream in my another channel and I ran across a problem on OBS. And the problem was that when I added google Chrome to the window capture source,OBS would display a black screen. And when I added other running apps like task manager or audacity they would be displayed perfectly. And after a bit of research I was able to figure out the solution so here it is.
First of all open up your Chrome browser and go to settings, and click on advanced at the bottom of the page. Now scroll down to system under which you will find use hardware acceleration when available. By default this is turned on. Now in order to make OBS display your Chrome browser for streaming or recording purposes, all you got to do is turn this option off.
