Within Premiere Pro, you can create something called Proxies. These are smaller versions of your full-resolution video files. The purpose of proxies is to speed up Premiere Pro so you can edit 4k on a slow computer. But the best part is that when you're working with proxies, you don't need the full-resolution files. That means you can send the smaller files and your project file overseas to be editing. This is my way to send large video files for outsource video editing Philippines for $6-$10/hr.
