Begin with simple modeling techniques using Standard Primitives.
Process:
1. Draw a Rectangle from the "Shapes" menu in Create panel. (It's just to get a size)
2. Draw Cylinders on the corners of that rectangle.
3. Draw a Chamfer Box from Extended Primitives and adjust above the cylinders.
4. Copy Cylinders above that Chamfer Box.
5. Draw a cylinder from standard primitives, rotate it, and adjust by moving above the copied cylinders on the backside.

That's it...

I used Vray Renderer to render this scene so you must have V-ray installed before you go for rendering.
