I love the idea of creating two completely different looking designs using the same assets, just with one small difference. In this case, it was that one design used minimalism, and the other used maximalism.
I wanted the first poster to have a very serene quality that used lots of white space and bright colours, while the second I wanted darkness and chaos... mostly legible chaos, but still chaos.
So here's my design process for creating two different, text heavy type posters using the typeface IBM Plex Mono in Affinity Designer 2.
