This channel includes instructional films and examples of the Kerminator® Wasp Lance being used in different situations. We want to demonstrate how DIY users are able to quickly, accurately and calmly treat their own wasp nest in a variety of circumstances where a nest has been deemed to be a problem, along other interesting moments featuring troublesome wasp nests we have encountered and captured on film over the course of the season. We do not advocate the killing all wasp nests and understand that they play an important ecological role, but when they pose a risk to public health and safety, particularly during the later summer months when nests can contain up to 5000 wasps, it becomes necessary to treat and kill them. “The problem is a social wasp in distress emits a pheromone that sends nearby colony members into a defensive, stinging frenzy.” (British Pest Control Association).
