Create Schedule in Excel using SOLVER
Microsoft Excel is not only limited to Reporting and Data Analysis. Do you know that Excel can also be used to take decisions based on complex scenario. This is another episode where I am going to show you another awesome example on real world scenarios where you can use excel to solve your complex problems. In this episode I am going to show how to create an automated schedule based on the roster week-offs of employees. In this example I will show you to allocate rotational week-offs of 25 employees based on their preference and also consider the day wise minimum staffing requirements. This technique will help any company to increase their employee satisfaction level. We are going to use the amazing tool in Excel which is SOLVER. This SOLVER is applicable across all versions of Excel. Be it Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013, Excel 2016, Excel 2019, Excel 365.
