Experiment to show that Air is dissolved in Water/Presence of Air in Water
Take a container and add water in it. Heat the water slowly. Much before the water begins to boil, tiny bubbles appear on the inner side of the container. These bubbles come from the Air dissolved in water. Actually when the water is heated, the solubility of Air inside it starts decreasing. As a result, the Air inside dissolved in water cones out in the form of tiny bubbles. On further heating, the Water begins to boil and turns into vapours.
