Crop or full frame? FOR VIDEO
I'll talk about sensor sizes for video shooting. Those who've been following my channel for a while know that I'm a proponent of full-frame and don't like micro. In this video, I'll be talking purely about video shooting. I'll explore the importance of full-frame video or video with a 1.5x crop. As usual, I'll be debating micro and Sony.
By the way, for clarity, I recorded myself using a full-frame camera (Canon R in Full HD) and a cropped camera (Canon C100). The Canon R's image came out sharper, which is due to the lens. As this experiment showed, the 85mm f1.8 is sharper wide open than the 50mm f1.2L.
