At a roundtable discussion held by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) faction in the State Duma, Pavel Grudinin, director of the V.I. Lenin State Farm, stated that, according to him, approximately 40% of citizens spend almost all of their income on food, and many families are forced to increasingly save.
Grudinin believes this situation requires changes in the pricing system and support for agricultural producers. He believes it is necessary to take measures to make food more affordable for the population and ensure fair conditions for producers.
