Creation 3D cube animation from scratch
For creating 3D Rotating Cube in After Effects we will use after effects 3D Layer and Null objects.
A layer in after effects can be converted to 3D Layer Using 3D layer option. After converting a layer to 3d Layer, The layer will get new properties like Position - Z axis, Anchor Point - Z axis, Scale - Z axis, Orientation, X Rotation, Y Rotation, Z Rotation, and Material Options properties
A null object is a non renderable(invisible) layer in after effects. It has every property of a visible layer. It is used for creating complex animation. In this tutorial we it as a parent object to rotate child layers using its rotate transform property.
