Hard Mode: Running Mac OS 9.2 with sound on Apple Silicon/Intel Macs in QEMU

I've already made a short video on QEMU before and it wasn't exactly popular. So why not make another on a fairly unpopular topic? I decided to try it out on M1 Max as I've retired my M1 Air. This go around, the support for Apple Silicon is much better and we don't have to do any work arounds. In fact the instructions work the same on an Intel Mac or any Apple Silicon Mac.
This video breaks down installing QEMU and also how to build QEMU "Screamer" which emulates sound. It's more complex but at the same time not a whole lot more work than just running QEMU.

Also another YouTuber made a similarish video but he shows off using Mac OS 9 itself much more than I do, like using a Mac OS 9 web browser. I recommend checking it out.
