In Bryansk, a Chinese woman suspected of having coronavirus was removed from a train traveling from Kyiv to Moscow. Her high temperature was recorded after a thermal imaging scan. She was taken to the Bryansk infectious diseases hospital. Her samples were sent to Novosibirsk for testing. We contacted the regional Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) by phone. Grigory Tsygankov, Head of the Epidemiological Surveillance Department, told our correspondent that a special meeting of the headquarters is currently underway. Specialists will issue an official statement shortly. The results of the test samples taken from the foreign woman will be ready this evening.
Our film crew is currently at the Bryansk-Orlovsky railway station. There, a carriage of the Kyiv-Moscow passenger train was uncoupled from the train and moved into a sanitary siding due to a suspected coronavirus case in one of the passengers. There are 21 people in the carriage: 19 passengers and two conductors. According to preliminary reports, there are no children among them.
