Intermittent Testicular Torsion Emergency
We hear all the time about intermittent testicular torsion, but it actually is pretty uncommon and often is an elusive diagnosis. We present a patient who clearly had this condition that resolved during his visit to the emergency department. Don't be fooled by this presentation. These patients need timely surgical treatment (orchiopexy) because they are at risk for the condition returning and resulting in loss of a testicle.
