Tired of cleaning? So was I.

In this project I built a smart autonomous wiping robot using Raspberry Pi 5, LiDAR and ROS (Robot Operating System).
The goal was to create a robot that can map a room, plan a path, and wipe the floor automatically — and that anyone interested in robotics can build themselves.

In this video I explain:
• The hardware design of the robot
• The motors, battery, LiDAR and sensors used
• The mistakes that literally smoked my Raspberry Pi and servo
• And how the robot slowly came together
This is Part 1 of the project.
In the next video we will make the robot navigate autonomously using ROS navigation and mapping.
