AAPI Heritage Month: Belonging in America
Susie Kim is a 2013 New York City Corps Member who teaches 7th Grade History and Social Studies at Central Queens Academy Charter School. As an Asian American, she tries to instill in her students a sense of belonging so that they can learn to be advocates for themselves and their communities.
