Running Gas Furnace on generator Solved with Bonded Ground.
2000 watt Champion inverted generator with floating ground not working solved with Bonding Ground. I cut an extension cord and tied the ground with the neutral together. This is what’s done in your panel of your home. Since the generator has a floating ground they are meant to be bound through a transfer switch. Since I’m unplugging the furnace from the wall into the generator the ground was needed bonded. Always consult a licensed electrician before working with electric.
