The astral body has a human form, varying in color from white, silver, and bluish. It is the spiritual envelope closest to matter, visible to clairvoyant mediums. Several spirits possess this subtle structure, necessary for their manifestation in their astral dimension, with varying densities depending on each individual. Higher spirits do not possess this body due to their evolution.
It is the Biological Organizing Model (BOM) of the physical body, a form that structures it. It is observable through photographs, clairvoyance, fingerprints, tactile sensations, and ghostly apparitions. It also has the function of sensitivity, pain or pleasure, and possesses the capacity to register emotions, desires, vices, feelings, and passions, which are imprinted upon it by the force of the psyche.
During sleep, it easily separates from the physical body, whether naturally or induced by trauma or strong emotions, as well as by the will of the mind. It can also separate from the physical body through anesthesia, alcoholic coma, drugs, or apometric projection, in the same way as the etheric body. This is the body that participates in conscious astral projections.
