Big Sources reveals that Apple is trying to assemble iPhone 12 production line in India!

After china , india is the second largest smartphone market in the entire world. For smartphone brands , india can be a big pond for them. In india, the smartphone market finished 2020 with nearly 145 million+ units sold out. And in 2021 according to International Data Corporation (idc), they expect the smartphone market in india to grow in double digits!
So we can say indian market can be a big game changer for any brand in growth as well as in making profits!
BUT!
Apple doesnt make any spot in the top 5 smartphones when it comes to sales in india. WHY? Because in india the iphones almost cost double the amount they are launch in the US Market! And we know you know that how big the indian market is for any smartphone brand.
We cant say that apple is failing in india but we know that apple is losing a big amount of their customers just because of their doubled price in the market. This is because apple doesnt have an assembly line in india and their product gets allot of taxes and duty charges till they hit in india

According to this article from techcrunch.com which states that apple is beginning to assemble the iphone 12 producttion line to ramp up its production capacity, foxconn, which is a manufacturing partner of apple is assembling the iphone 12 model, not iphone 12 pro pro max and mini in the country!
“Apple is dedicated in making the best products and services in the world to delight our customers. We are proud to be starting production of iphone 12 in india for our local customers”, said an apple spokesperson in india in a statement.
Apple assumes to take just 2% of the indian smartphone market specially focused entirely on a small amount of customers willingly to afford and pay big bucks!
What i think?
I think we can expect a nice price cut on iphone 12 after their production line assembles in india and maybe some special offers just for the local market!
