It all started with display devices like the Cathode Ray Tube, or CRT.Inside this vacuum tube, an electron gun shoots a high-speed beam of electrons.This beam is guided by powerful magnetic or electric fields, which act like a super-fast steering system, telling the beam exactly where to go.The beam strikes a screen coated with a material called phosphor, which glows brightly when hit, creating a single lit-up dot—a pixel. By scanning this beam across the entire screen thousands of time per second, the CRT 'paints' a complete image."Scene 5: Adding Color - Two Different Methods"So how do we get color? Early methods, like the Beam Penetration method, used layers of different colored phosphors.
