ROBBIE KRIEGER -- "TOUCH ME"
I filmed this at the NYC City Winery on April 5 2015. This is an UnsteadyCam Production. Robbie of course was the guitarist for The Doors. The evening was billed as "An Evening of The Doors' Greatest Hits". It was alternatively billed as "Robby Krieger of The Doors Playing 50 Years of Hits" (a misnomer because they only had a few years of hits!) Of course this is a cover of a tune recorded by THE DOORS, and written by the Robbie by the way. The song is also noted for the last sung vocal words from the AJAX commercial from 1962,: "STRONGER THAN DIRT". The AJAX company sued the Doors for plagiarizing the ad's trademark tune. The Doors paid the financial damages in a settlement to the AJAX company
