Similarly at UFC 67, Travis Lutter didn’t make weight across Anderson Silva, making it a non-title bout where Lutter also got finished.
Nearly 10 years later at UFC 206, Anthony Pettis missed weight for his interim title fight to Max Holloway becoming ineligible to win the belt. Luckily Holloway finished Pettis in round 3 to win the title.
At UFC 221, Yoel Romero missed weight across Luke Rockhold, and despite knocking Rockhold out, was ineligible to win the belt.
Then Romero missed weight again across Whittaker for the undisputed title at UFC 225, turning the fight into a non-title bout and losing via split decision.
In 2020, Deiveson Figueiredo missed weight across Joseph Benavidez, and despite finishing Benavidez, Figgy didn’t win the belt that night.
And finally at UFC 274, Charles Oliveira was stripped for mising weight, but nobody cared because when he submitted Justin Gaethje, it sure as hell felt like a title defense.
