How to Remove Google Search Bar From Android Phone 2025?
Want to remove the Google Search Bar from your Android phone in 2025? In this video, I’ll show you 2 simple and effective methods to get rid of the Google Search Bar — no root, no complicated setup required. Works on most Android phones, including Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, and more.
If you're tired of the search bar taking up space on your home screen, this video is for you!
✅ Method 1: Remove Google Search Bar (If Option is Available)
Long press on the Google Search Bar
Tap on the Remove or Delete option
(Note: This may not work on all Android phones)
✅ Method 2: Use Nova Launcher (For phones like Google Pixel etc.)
Open the Play Store
Search for Nova Launcher
Download and install it
Open the Nova Launcher app
Tap on "Not set as default"
Select Nova Launcher as your default launcher
Now, long press the Google Search Bar on your home screen
Tap on Widget Settings
Under Placement, select None
That’s it! The Search Bar is gone
🔄 Want to go back to your original phone interface?
Open Nova Launcher
Scroll down to Default Launcher
Choose One UI Home or your phone’s default launcher
Or simply uninstall the Nova Launcher app
