this flash drive was just dead, and since monolithic devices do not have removable memory components to read out the NAND we had to use microwire to attach the device to NAND reader. Once the NAND reader captured the physical dump of the NAND, we simulated the function of the controller with one of the best tools for this job. The result - all of the data is saved, and delivered to the client.
