Dockerfile Tutorial: Image vs. Container Hands-On Example (fast!) - 2019
In this video I'm guiding you through a full hands-on example of a Dockerfile. First, we discuss the difference between an image and a container briefly. Then we do a hands-on example: We are creating a Dockerfile and discuss specific contents like the FROM or the CMD or WORKDIR command. Then we create a new image. Then we run the image containing a simple PHP file. I'll also show you what it means that the image is immutable. Finally we are cleaning up and leaving our system uncluttered.
