Maria, owner of the adorable one-and-a-half-year-old Shelley, explains why he needs a lot of training, why he dislikes crows, and when he feels like a Doberman.
One thing we've learned for sure: this breed is absolutely not a couch potato! It's important to keep him busy, both physically and mentally. Excess energy can cause him to do stupid things like eat shoelaces, chew the rug, and even more serious things.
According to Maria, other things to be prepared for include possible gastrointestinal problems and frequent nail trimming.
Overall, the Miniature Schnauzer is a friendly dog, an excellent companion, loves people, and gets along well with children.
