Data Versioning: S3 allows versioning of objects, enabling you to preserve, retrieve, and restore every version of an object stored in a bucket. This is invaluable for data recovery and compliance.


Data Lifecycle Management: You can define lifecycle policies to automate the transition of objects between storage classes or their expiration after a specified period. This helps optimize costs and storage efficiency.

Event Notifications: You can configure event notifications to trigger AWS Lambda functions or SQS queues when specific actions (e.g., object creation or deletion) occur in a bucket.
