Inkscape-turning a picture into a pattern to use in fill

First I went to file import to import my images. Then I sized the image to fit my logo. Depending on what you want to do you can make the image smaller to have multiple in the space. Click your image and go to the top bar to object. Scroll down that menu till you see pattern then click object to pattern. This will create a pattern so go to stroke and fill. Fill click on the pattern square then in that menu find the pattern. Once that is done you can leave that menu and go to the left side to click the node tool. This will allow you to adjust the fill pattern in your item.
