Announcing: "Shinbyeong", Official Book Soundtrack!
Here's a teaser for "Shinbyeong", the official soundtrack for a book by our good friend Rou Hun Fan. He asked us to create music for the first two chapters.

The first track, "Army Of Lost Souls", is a dark and chaotic techno track. We started by recording a Volca jam with effects, and later added layers of ambient soundscapes using the SpaceCraft granular synth for iOS.
For the second track, "Neon Wedding: Cyber Sunset", we explored a genre that we were previously unfamiliar with: vaporwave. We created a 'retro' sounding beat and then slowed down that recording quite dramatically in post-production. Rou Hun asked his Korean friend EJay to record herself reading part of the second chapter of the book, translated to Korean, which we used in the song. After mixing we recorded the song to cassette tape for an extra vintage sound.
