LET IT BE THE LAST TIME!
In the previous story, Julia asked Mom for permission to go to the movies with her friend. Mom gave her permission. Upon finding out, Mia asked her to please take her. At first, Julia refused, but finally gave in and agreed to take her.
When Julia told her friend that her sister was going, the friend got very angry and told her that she wouldn't go to the movies with her sister. Julia decided not to go because it hurt her that her friend would talk about her little sister like that.
When she goes to tell Mom that she won't go to the movies, Mom, without letting her speak, assumes that she'd rather not go to the movies than take her sister. No matter how much Julia insists that's not the reason, Mom doesn't want to listen.
Julia ends up telling Mía the truth, and Mía advises her to talk to Mom so she knows the real reason they're not going to the movies in the end. However, Julia insists she can't, as Mom is being very unfair to them.
Mía decides the situation can't stay like this and decides to tell Mom.
