Add Captions in FCPX.

Final Cut Pro 10.4.1 update added a few new features. One of the main features is the ability to add captions in FCPX. Captions are visual lines of text that are synced with a video. Captions are used primarily for closed captioning for the hearing impaired. Captions can also be used for subtitles, karaoke, scrolling news items, and teleprompters.

Final Cut Pro now gives you the ability to create captions right in your timeline, or you can import them into your project. In this video we’ll take a look at how to add captions to your video, modify captions and set timings, and export video with embedded captions, as well as export separate caption files.
