Catherine: Full Body (2019) is one of the most fascinating games period, not just that Atlus has made. It's a surreal title, a novel Romance Horror project. But while it's puzzle-based gameplay is fun, the themes are what make it truly shine. While the original Catherine (2011) established a wonderful foundation, Full Body masterfully takes it to the next level.
In this video, I plan to offer a unique analysis; not just on how Vincent’s choices impact the order and chaos dichotomy. But how Rin and Erica challenge traditional identity themes in less obvious ways. How Atlus uses biblical and mythological symbolism to turn a love triangle into a story about self-acceptance, and more.
To me, this game is a masterpiece, and I hope you let me know what you think!
