Encoding overloaded is a problem in OBS Studio regarding the recording process or known as encoding overload, the load here is the load when recording video or streaming and also when playing games or rendering or other activities that use the CPU or GPU which makes the process up to 100%. For example, if you play a game, the GPU process in the game can reach 100% or the CPU process can reach 100%, and add the video recording process so that the GPU/CPU process can reach more than 100% so that it becomes overloaded. This happens because the capabilities of the CPU and GPU you are using are limited.
In OBS Studio, of course there is a way to overcome or fix this problem, namely by reducing the resolution when recording or changing to a faster encoder.
There are 2 encoders in OBS, namely Software and Hardware
Software: is the process of recording video using the CPU
Hardware is the process of recording video using a GPU
Of course, this is very limited by the hardware capabilities of the CPU and GPU that you have, so if from the start the CPU/GPU you are using is not capable of recording or streaming while playing games, you can upgrade the CPU or GPU you are using.
