Harry Potter was asked to bring his Uncle Vernon some coffee and played a small joke on him by calling him Aunt Petunia instead. Vernon Dursley was severely offended, as he had questioned his sexuality and gender years before and did not want to be put on the spot yet again. He proceeds to hit Harry with a trash can which somehow explodes causing Privet Drive to be no more.
