When slicing a file for 3D printing, you will commonly come across .Gcode files. These are the instructions for the 3D printer to properly run your print.
When slicing with ideaMaker, you will still get a standard .Gcode file, but in addition you will also get a .data file. In Raise3D printers, the .Data file will provide additional information for the touchscreen to display. This is primarily the visual image of the model with print progress.
Lastly, using ideaMaker, these files can be re-imported into the software in order to re-use settings from successful prints.
