After Effects Template: Tiny Planet - Universal Studios Logo Parody
Tiny Planet is a completely customizable 16-second-long logo stinger After Effects template with editable text and colors featuring a small-looking planet, similar to the Universal Studios logo. As you can see, this is a parody. Not really meant to be taken seriously, but also not meant to be hilarious. Sort of a cool-looking spin-off of the original logo. As incredible as it may sound, no third party plugins were employed. YES. You read that right. Zero third party plugins. All this was accomplished INSIDE After Effects, with native plugins. It obviously has its limitations and its flaws, but from the right angle and at the right speed, you can't even tell, and that's exactly what I did to accomplish this effect.
This After Effects template comes in two "flavours"; Normal and dead planet. Because if i am going to make a parody of the Universal Studios logo, why not go the whole 9 yards and make the "b" side as well.
Anyway, this logo AE template has been requested a lot over at Pond5, via text messages, so there you go, folks! For those who have been requesting it, here it is, in all its glory! (sorry it's not a perfect copy, but I don't like to copy)
