Grounded - New save scum technique for Gold Cards - VERIFIED!
UPDATE: IT WORKS!! I had to respawn the Widow for 6 hours straight on my main save, while watching World Cup matches, but I got the Gold Card: https://i.imgur.com/oxrCUMG.jpg

Since the loot is determined when the creature spawns now, instead of when it dies, you can't save scum the kill to try to get the Gold Card anymore. But you can save scum the spawn.
Save regularly, watching the Resource Scanner to see when the creature spawns.
Once you see that creature has spawned, reload the latest save, and watch the resource scanner more carefully to pinpoint the exact spawn time.
Once you know the exact spawn time, head to the creature spawn point before that time. It can't spawn if you are within 180 cm of the spawn point.
Save.
Run 180 cm away from the spawn point to let the creature spawn, then kill it.
No Gold Card?
Load.
Run 180 cm away to let the creature spawn again, then kill it again.
