Homemade EPS Foam Carving Tools - profile cutter, hot wire
These are some of the tools I built for foam work including a profile cutter. Nickle Chromium wire is used for the heating element. For the table mounted hot wire I use 26 ga. wire and a 30v DC variable power supply. For the profile cutter I use 11 ga. ribbon with a variable transformer rated for 2400 watts AC.
